Hey Mom,

Went and picked strawberries today. They were great and plentiful. I must have only had to go about three feet to pick two quarts. I know I should have picked a tray, I could here you. I remember picking trays and going home to make strawberry shortcake and strawberry jam. I remember getting all the jars we could find putting them in the dishwasher to sterilize them and melting the wax. It was alot of work but we sure enjoyed the jam. I miss those times. Fond memories Mom. Thanks!

Mom,
Remembering  your last birthday here on earth. All of us threw you  a big 75th Surprise  Birthday Party. It was Dad's job to keep you away from our house and to get you here. Wanda, Christine, Maryann & I planned & decorated. All our husbands, grandchildren, & great grandchildren helped get everything ready outside (tarps because it looked like rain etc.) & inside. Aunt Judy & Uncle Ron & Aunt Shirley & Uncle Richard came to help us celebrate. That was a wonderful day. Thank you Dad, Gary, Keith, Lisa, Wanda, Dan, Amaya, Christine, Kenny, Chet, Melissa, Christopher, Maryann, Ron, Maureen, Eric, Sean, Miranda, Jared, Luke, Ron, Grazzi, Josh for making that day so special a memory to hold in our hearts forever. Thank you Mom for being you for Loving us & always letting each one of us know how special we were to you.

Another New Year, thinking of you. As we start a new year we look back and think of the things we would love to change in the old year. But things are as they are and there is no going back. We look forward to a new year in hopes of being a better person. May we be blessed with much love, understanding and compassion. Give us the strength you taught us to over come the bumps in the road we will experience. Let the love we have overcome all barriers. It's not easy without you, but you gave us the skills to go forward. 
This year as last I will miss the clam fritters, homemade french fries and lobster on the back porch. No one could ever say we didn't know how to ring in the new year!! I miss you so much Mom. The love I have for you is never ending.

       This will be the third Christmas without you. You Loved Christmas. You made the best cookies. All your daughters, son-in-laws, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren have helped (?) baked cookies and decorate the Christmas Tree one year or another.
       Wanda wanted all of us to pick a Christmas picture to put on your site. A couple days ago I started to go through pictures and it was just too much. Yesterday Gary & I were sorting through boxes and like magic, when I opened one with your Christmas decorations it made me cry. The tears were because I miss you so much but also because of the happy memories of Christmas past. All of us girls have your Christmas ornaments we cherish.
      Merry Christmas in heaven give Jesse a hug & kiss from us.

I don't have a tree this year but if I did I would buy tinsel and put tons on it.  I laugh at the memories of Christmas past. You with four little girls who sure wanted that tree to sparkle and shine. You loved Christmas it was just another excuse for you to spoil us and later on our children.
We struggle this year to figure out where we belong how to celebrate and with who. help us all to figure it out with love and compassion. Give my boy a big hug and let him know I get the best present of having Amaya for a week after Christmas!!!!
